He really loves me!

For some reason that I can't quite explain, Michael has been infatuation with mustaches lately. He really wants to grow one to see if he can truly sport it. He usually talks a big game and grows it out for a couple of days, I whine or he has an interview, and then he has to shave it. However, for the last couple of weeks, he has ignored me and made his attempt. I've whined almost every day and told him over and over that I'm not a fan. HE HASN'T LISTENED!
What do you think?

Yeah, it's not for him. He's too blonde and not very hairy, so there just isn't much there. But, to shut me up for a minute, he agreed to let me put mascara on his stache to see what he would look like if he could grow a "true" stache.
Is this any better?

I was laughing so hard! I think he's a clean shaved kinda guy. He was such a great sport to let me do this. He wasn't too happy with the pictures, but I hurried and snapped a few shots before he changed his mind. He really will do anything to make me happy! I sure did luck out!

Made by me

Isn't it cute?! Yes, I made this. Turned out better than I thought it would. Michael even said it looked like it came from Tai Pan. Best compliment it the world!

Winter Wonderland

For the past couple of years, Michael & I make an effort to go to Temple Square & see the lights each Christmas season. They do such an amazing jobs with the lights and nativities, that it just never gets old. It amazes me how many people from around the world, make it a point to come here and enjoy the beauty of the temple and temple grounds.

Most of Michael's family was able to meet us there so we could stroll the grounds together. Here's our group:
Jerilyn, Jeremiah, Zach, and Hailey

Jon, Holli, Jacob, Jackson, Jocelyn, & Mylee

Taylor & Melynn

It's such a blessing to have so many temples near us. I love their beauty, purpose, and all that they represent both past and future.

Yes...it's that time of year!

You can't have Christmas without glitter, right?! Well, Mike always hates when he gets glitter on himself and thinks that someone dusts him with glitter every time he comes into a craft store with me...I think he's a little dramatic! So, you can imagine his excitement when I got out all the Christmas stuff, mostly consisting of glitter, to decorate our apartment. Thankfully he was gone for most of the morning, so I only had to deal with the Drama Queen for a few hours. I was more than excited to decorate my tree. I still love my black, white, & lime green decorations and the tree skirt Mike's grandma made for me. Too cute! I also decorate a little cowboy tree with all the decorations my parents have given to me over the years. They have a lot of sentimental value to me and bring back some great memories.
I couldn't find any stockings I liked last year and mom and I saw these ones at Gardner's Village awhile ago and mom got them for us. I absolutely love them! Thanks Mommy!

Also, growing up my parents would give us a children's Christmas book each year to hopefully share with our kids someday. I love this idea and love my books, so I displayed them in one of our windows.
I also wanted to start collecting something at Christmas time each year. Mom collects Santas and snow globes and I think the tradition is kinda fun. So, last year I decided I would collect Christmas trees. I love my collect so far.

And last but no least, I put up Mike's favorite decoration, Homer! It wouldn't be Christmas without him!
Happy Holidays!
